Over 40 Mount de Sales students welcomed home 351 soldiers from Afghanistan on BWI on Thursday, September 27. Their loud cheers could be heard from the customs station down the hall from the airport lobby.
“It was heartwarming to see all of the families embracing their loved ones. you could tell it meant a lot to them to hear us all cheering them,” said senior Taylor Price, who has a brother serving in the Army.Staff Sergeant James Price, recently returned from his third tour of duty in Iraq and is now stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado.
